Zoom con AJAX usando jQuery

Hasta hace poco era impensable llegar a pensar que usando tecnologías AJAX pudiéramos llegar a hacer zoom sobre imágenes en la máquina del cliente, sin usar ninguna tecnologías como Flash o Silverlight. A través de Gloobs me entero de que es posible, usando el framework jQuery. En Mind Projects encontráis el código y al explicación.
